GE Ultrasound Feature
Vscan Air Probe Integration
HardwareVscan Air integration extends the LOGIQ e X workflow to compatible Vscan Air CL and SL wireless dual-probe devices. Clinicians can add cable-free scanning flexibility to the same portable platform when a quick exam, crowded bedside, or difficult room layout makes a wireless probe useful.
Key Benefits
Why Vscan Air Probe Integration matters
Cable-free positioning
A wireless probe can simplify access around beds, stretchers, and procedure equipment. It also gives the operator more freedom to choose a comfortable scanning position.
Dual-probe versatility
Vscan Air CL and SL each combine two transducer types in one device. The appropriate model can expand focused-exam coverage without adding another wired cable.
One portable-system workflow
Use a Vscan Air device when wireless mobility is useful and return to the LOGIQ e X wired RS portfolio for broader applications. The system supports both approaches.
Useful across care locations
Wireless scanning can help in bedside, clinic, and procedural environments where space is limited. Compatibility and available functions depend on the installed configuration.
About Vscan Air Probe Integration
The LOGIQ e X combines conventional wired RS transducers with support for compatible Vscan Air CL and SL wireless devices. Vscan Air CL combines curved- and linear-array transducers in one handheld device, while Vscan Air SL combines sector- and linear-array transducers. The wireless option can make it easier to approach a patient in a crowded room or perform a focused scan without positioning a cable across the work area. It does not replace the broader wired-probe portfolio or every advanced application. Device availability, supported workflows, charging accessories, and software requirements should be confirmed for the ordered configuration and region.
