GE Ultrasound Feature
Whizz Report
WorkflowWhizz Report provides configurable report templates that integrate directly with the ultrasound exam workflow on Versana systems. As clinicians perform scans, measurements and captured images populate automatically into the relevant report fields. Templates can be customized for specific exam types and specialties, with sections for key findings, measurements, images, and clinical comments. Reference datasheets display alongside the report during scanning, giving clinicians immediate access to normal value ranges without switching screens.

Key Benefits
Why Whizz Report matters
Reports built during the exam, not after
Measurements and images populate into report fields as the scan progresses. When the last image is captured, the report is already assembled. There is no separate documentation step, and reports are available for physician review immediately.
Templates tailored to each exam type and specialty
Customizable templates define the exact fields, image slots, and measurement sections for each type of study. An abdominal template includes different sections than an obstetric template, so reports match the clinical context without manual reorganization.
Fewer transcription errors in clinical documentation
Automated data population eliminates the manual transfer of measurements from the ultrasound screen to the report. This removes the transposition errors and omissions that occur when sonographers enter data by hand after completing a scan.
Built-in reference datasheets during scanning
Normal value ranges and clinical reference data display within the report template during the exam. Sonographers can compare measurements against reference values in real time without opening separate documents or switching between applications on the system.
About Whizz Report
Ultrasound reporting is one of the biggest time drains in a busy practice. After completing the imaging portion of an exam, sonographers spend additional minutes transferring measurements into reports, adding images, and organizing findings. Whizz Report eliminates most of this post-exam documentation by building the report in real time during the scan. Each template defines which measurement fields, image slots, and text sections appear for a given exam type. As the sonographer captures measurements and images, the data flows into the correct report fields automatically. The templates are fully customizable: practices can modify section order, add or remove measurement fields, include reference datasheets for normal values, and configure the layout to match their preferred documentation format. For multi-specialty practices using Versana systems across different clinical applications, separate templates can be created for abdominal, obstetric, vascular, musculoskeletal, and other exam types. The finished report is available for physician review immediately after the exam ends, without a separate documentation step. This is particularly valuable in high-volume practices where the documentation backlog can delay report availability by hours.
