Applications
Vascular Imaging
B-mode and Color Doppler visualize carotid intima-media thickness, plaque morphology, and stenosis grading per Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound criteria. PW Doppler measures peak systolic and end-diastolic velocities for ICA/CCA ratio calculations. The 4–13 MHz range also covers upper and lower extremity venous compression studies for DVT screening.
Small Parts & Thyroid
High-frequency imaging resolves thyroid nodules down to 2–3 mm for TI-RADS classification. Breast lesion characterization benefits from the probe's resolution at shallow depths, supporting BI-RADS assessment. Musculoskeletal Assessment
