GE C2-7VN-D
The C2-7VN-D is a volume-capable curved array that adds 3D and 4D acquisition to the standard convex imaging workflow. The "VN" designation indicates an integrated mechanical volume sweep that captures full volumetric datasets for multiplanar reconstruction, HDlive rendering, and fetal cardiac STIC analysis. D-pin connectivity pairs this probe with LOGIQ E10, Fortis, Totus, and Vivid E95 systems where volume rendering software is available.

Specifications
Wideband range covers deep abdominal imaging through higher-resolution superficial OB assessment.
Wide field captures large anatomical regions in abdomen and pelvis.
Deep penetration supports imaging of posterior structures in larger patients.
Full imaging suite includes volumetric acquisition for multiplanar reconstruction and surface rendering.
D-pin interface connects to GE LOGIQ, Vivid, and Voluson D-pin systems with volume rendering capability.
Applications
Obstetric 3D/4D Imaging
Volume acquisition captures full fetal anatomy for surface rendering, skeletal mode, and HDlive display. STIC (Spatio-Temporal Image Correlation) mode enables systematic review of fetal cardiac anatomy from a single volume sweep, reducing dependence on optimal fetal position during the exam.
Abdominal and General Imaging
At standard 2D frequencies, the C2-7VN-D performs as a conventional curved array for liver, kidney, gallbladder, and pancreas assessment. The 70-degree field of view and 25 cm depth cover deep abdominal anatomy. Volume mode adds coronal plane reconstruction without patient repositioning.
Gynecological and Fetal Heart Assessment
Transabdominal volume acquisition supports uterine morphology evaluation and adnexal mass characterization in 3D. Fetal heart assessment benefits from STIC acquisition on compatible Voluson and LOGIQ systems, enabling offline review of all four cardiac chambers and outflow tracts.
