GE IC9-RS
The IC9-RS uses a micro-convex array geometry with a 185-degree field of view to maximize anatomical coverage during endocavitary exams. Its 3.6 – 9.0 MHz wideband range supports both high-resolution early pregnancy imaging and deeper pelvic structure assessment. The slim, ergonomic profile reduces patient discomfort during transvaginal and transrectal procedures while RS-pin connectivity covers Voluson, LOGIQ, and Versana platforms.
Specifications
Wideband range covers deep pelvic imaging through high-resolution superficial structures in a single probe.
Ultra-wide field captures the full uterus and adnexa without excessive probe manipulation.
Full Doppler capability enables vascular assessment of pelvic organs and masses.
RS-pin interface connects to Voluson, LOGIQ, and Versana RS-compatible systems.
Applications
Transvaginal OB/GYN Imaging
The 185-degree field of view captures the full uterus and adnexa in a single sweep. High-frequency operation resolves early gestational structures, follicle monitoring, and endometrial thickness measurements critical for fertility workups and first-trimester dating scans on Voluson and LOGIQ platforms.
Urological and Pelvic Floor Assessment
Wideband frequency coverage supports imaging of the bladder wall, ureteral jets, and pelvic floor musculature. Color Doppler enables detection of abnormal vascularity in bladder masses and evaluation of post-void residual volumes.
Transrectal Prostate Imaging
The compact micro-convex tip provides high-resolution visualization of the prostate gland, seminal vesicles, and rectal wall. Doppler sensitivity supports identification of areas with increased vascularity for targeted biopsy guidance.
